CliniqMatch is a UK-based cosmetic surgery consultation matching service operated by Flynn McCarthy. We connect patients with GMC-registered cosmetic surgery clinics across the United Kingdom.

For the purposes of UK GDPR, CliniqMatch is the data controller for personal information collected through our website at cliniqmatch.co.uk.

2. What data we collect

When you submit an enquiry through our website quiz we collect the following information:

• Your full name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your postcode
• Your procedure interest
• Your approximate budget
• Your timeline for the procedure
• The date and time of your submission
• The source of your visit (e.g. direct, social media)

We also collect standard website analytics data including pages visited, time on site, and device type through anonymised analytics tools.

3. How we use your data

We use the personal information you provide for the following purposes:

• To match you with the most suitable GMC-registered clinic near your postcode for your procedure and budget
• To send you a confirmation SMS and email following your enquiry
• To facilitate a consultation booking between you and a matched clinic partner
• To follow up on your enquiry if you have not yet booked a consultation
• To send appointment reminders for any booked consultations
• To request a Google review following your consultation

Our lawful basis for processing your data is your consent, given when you submit the quiz form and agree to be contacted about your enquiry.

4. Who we share your data with

We share your enquiry details with the matched clinic partner for the purpose of facilitating your consultation booking. This is the only third party we share your personal data with.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing companies. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

We use the following trusted service providers to operate our platform — each processes your data only as necessary to provide their service:

• Supabase — secure database storage (EU servers)
• Resend — email delivery
• Twilio — SMS delivery
• Netlify — website hosting
• Calendly — consultation booking

5. How long we keep your data

We retain your personal information for a maximum of 24 months from the date of your enquiry. After this period your data is permanently deleted from our systems.

You may request deletion of your data at any time — see section 7 below.

6. How we protect your data

Your data is stored securely on EU-based servers provided by Supabase. All data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS encryption. Access to our database is restricted to authorised personnel only.

We do not store your payment information — we do not take payments from patients at any stage.

7. Your rights under UK GDPR

Under UK data protection law you have the following rights:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data at any time
• Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to stop processing your data
• Right to object — you can object to us processing your data for direct marketing
• Right to data portability — you can request your data in a portable format

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have not handled your data correctly.

8. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to remember your preferences and improve your experience. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. By continuing to use our website you agree to our use of essential cookies.

9. SMS and email communications

By submitting your details through our quiz you consent to receiving SMS and email communications related to your enquiry. These include:

• Confirmation of your enquiry
• Information about your matched clinic
• Appointment reminders
• Follow up messages if you have not yet booked
• A review request after your consultation

You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can opt out of email communications by replying to any email requesting removal.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The most recent version will always be available at cliniqmatch.co.uk/privacy.html. We will notify you of any significant changes by email if we hold your contact details.
